Coppélia can start an animation at three events. The options can be found under the Animation Start Options disclosure triangle. These are:
Immediately – this will start the Action when the page loads
When Page Has Loaded – this will start the animation once the page has loaded (using the onLoad parameter in the page's body tag).
On Slave Chain – this will start the animation when the specified slave chain has been triggered. This will allow you to start the movement when a button is clicked with the Rollover Action set to send a slave trigger.
You can also stop an animation by triggering a slave chain.
Stop animation - this allows the animation to be stopped using a slave chain.
Use the Slave Group and Trigger # drop downs to select the chain and trigger to stop the animation. The Animation can be continued using the Save Chain in the Start movement settings, if they have been set up.
